  I was hesitant. I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants particularly for breakfast. I hadn't been to an ihop in, well, I don't know how long! The service at this location made the experience great. More busy on a Monday than they anticipated due to a nascar race, all servers were cool, calm, and collected and the kitchen pushed out food quick!  
  
  They bring you a little coffee pot to share but it doesn't hold much. If you bring a kid, go for the "silver 5".  Other kids choices don't live up to the expectation!  You'll just have to trust me!

  Literally the worst food I have ever had. Placed an online order and they messed up every single items. Bacon that was somehow both soggy and burned. Soggy crepes with nothing on them when I ordered Swedish. Looked like someone ate 2/3 of my potato pancake. First they forgot the sour cream. When we went back in to get it they gave us mayonnaise instead. Don't waste your time or money.

  I wish I could have given this place thumbs down. It shouldn't be called pancake house if you don't know how to make pancakes properly...

  Excellent basic breakfast, about what you expect from any IHOP!
  restaurant was very busy, yet our food was served in a timely manner, it was hot, and it tasted as expected.

  While vacationing in Dover, DE I went this morning to get my infamous breakfast that I always get from IHOP. My order was TO GO- when presented I was dissatified with the appearance of my food. My pancakes looked rushed they were very flat and not fluffy as advertised. The pancakes look as if they where frozen pancakes that was heated up really quick! The staff and management blames the batter (said whoever made the batter the night before - didn't make it properly). Really? Meantime upon looking at the other guests table their pancakes looked fluffy. The manager re-made my pancakes and they were no better than the previous order. To add how do you burn scrambled eggs (with no cheese)in which were included in my order. Due to the fact that my son and I was hungry I didn't want to go back and forth with this matter. Got back to my hotel room to eat this breakfast and the entire order was tasteless - HORRIBLE... The food were bland!!! We ordered the Belgian Waffle Combo and Have It All Breakfast. I will never patronize this IHOP and would NOT suggest for anyone else to go. I gave it 1 star because of the convenience of the location for where I'm staying  0 star for this restaurant and the horrible cook.  Beware: Don't Go to this IHOP seek another local breakfast joint!
